However, the practice of doubling prices—common in Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and Cancun—seems abusive. We firmly reject any approach that uses commissions to become an obstacle for customers, rather than a benefit. Through exclusive agreements, many tour operators are pressured to raise their prices, even on their own websites, to satisfy the so-called “healthy competition” requirements. We don’t play that game. This commitment to transparency is what sets us apart.
